Language tags are also an issue - there is a langage tag, but it is lyrics language not work title language - in order to choose the work title in users local language (like we do for e.g. Artists) we need to have ability to distinguish between lyrics and title languages.
This is not something that can be addressed before Q4 schema change.

I think a lot of language for artists comes from their Aliases. And Works have aliases, but the examples I have looked at with aliases often don't have the language attribute set.
Mineo: Which perhaps can be addressed by updated Style Guidelines. Or by making Type a required field and Locale a required field for "Work name" types.
