There is indeed. But that wasn't really the primary concern but rather that the majority of the calendars I was thinking of, isn't exactly music. At least not the majority of it. But then, neither is Weird Al's Peter and the Wolf and that's added so :)

completely unrelated, but does anyone know who the owner of https://pypi.python.org/pypi/picard/0.12.1 is? with picard 2.0 all dependencies should be pip-installable, it would be nice to update the entry on pypi for that
oh and Mineo yea those are latin1 and utf8... Both provided by plex... In the same field.. For the same action, which one is decided by what triggered it... Absolutely ridiculous and even their own Agent is using a workaround for related issue

The framework for the agents are just plain python so that is easy, and the playing side of it, is all based on xbmc so that's also open. The transcoder is ffmpeg so again open. The streamer and the media organizer though, is completely closed
Mineo: Wooble in #pypa pointed out that the current "maintainer" in PyPI is likely https://github.com/WoLpH - so maybe try writing them directly first.
