I've had good success using lint-staged and pre-commit in other projects. Didn't notice the formatting githook snippet till just now

Ok - I will submit a PR to change "Piss off!" to something else. But I think the real solution is to remove the URL from the MBSpotify project on Jira (which I cannot do).

2017-06-13 16407, 2017

it has no open source license

So what does that mean in practice - that anyone can claim ownership? Or that it is completely in the public domain?
2017-06-13 16449, 2017

no, it is (c) all rights reserved

if the scripts are worth something, we could have one person write down exactly what they do and write a spec for them.
2017-06-13 16437, 2017

then we can have someone else do a clean room implementation. that is a viable solution.
