In couple of days I should finish writing React components for showing search results (component per entity). Soon I will focus on writing components for different type of search conditions and fix some issues with UI. In general everything is moving forward but little bit behing the schelude (working extra hours also during this week).

This week I made some emergency adjustments to the elasticsearch configuration on the BookBrainz server, to reduce memory consumption by half to 1GB. Also looked into moving to Solr, and it looks like that should take less than 5 hours for our current use.

I also made quite a bit of progress on completely dropping Select2, which should increase client JS performance and also allow us to drop jQuery as a dependency. Just a couple of bugs to get rid of.

Freso: pruning old account privs

So a little time ago, I looked at some accounts and cleared out some privileges from "old" accounts, notably ocharles and kuno.

I kind of want to go over all current privileged accounts and remove privileges for accounts that aren't using them or aren't currently active.

what privs specifically?

admin I can see. auto editor?

Relationship editors, transclusion editors, location editors.

My primary concern is that old accounts get compromised, and not that I don't trust the actual people behind them to still be able to administer their elevated privileges.

If no one else have any concerns, I'll do it Soon™.
