so then the database considers these the same last.fm profile but with alais names or something

Probably wouldn't be "too hard" to make a Rockbox extension (or whatever they call it) for LB submission.

Freso: The Clip+ has a square directional-pad control and a microSDHC slot, but retains the monochrome OLED display and mini USB connector of the original Clip. that is mine I think :o

so then most if not all the already listens would be duplicates if you use the same source, meaning that it will discard "everything and use it fro mscratch" evne if it's not what actually happens... i guess

i mena, if *i* did this i'd have to -reimport over one nad a half million scrobbs. that's ok

but I would except those i already imported to be duplicates of the ones i'm importing now

and pestering people to import into LB, which worked.

being ick sucks

mid way through we got to 10M listens and made plans for promoting the test to beta.

and even that was quite a upgrade process, I was somewhat surprised as how complex the upgrade was.

but that worked and we doubled the number of listens with one blog post.
