.m3u is a playlist format, if you play the m3u the order of songs won't change in your player, it'll be the order with which you created the m3u

its not a big deal i guess. She gave me about 15 cd's to move to the thumbdrive, just wanted to keep them in the same order. To me when i used to make mixed cd's for myself in the day, the order of the songs was important.
