Yo, I worked on a lot of LB stuff this week. Have two branches will cool features *almost* ready to go.

2. Almost done adding support for AudioScrobbler's API v1.2 (which should allow LB to work with a few important clients like VLC and Spotify)

spent more time on rest of the gsoc cleanup this week, figured out how to proceed with building plugins for different branches. also gsoc final evaluations and all. also my gsoc blog got published on hackernoon just now https://medium.com/@sambhavkothari/500-commits-... apart from that, learnt lots of new stuff this week - mainly neural nets and deep learning

I spent some time figuring out how to make Spotify work with ListenBrainz and by that I mean I got other people to make Spotify work with ListenBrainz (is this how ruaok always feels like? it's a great feeling!)

I also closed the survey last night, ending up with exactly 1,200 answers (minus some duplicates but eh) which took some prodding and shaming people into filling it out but I ended up with a nice round number so I'm pretty happy

I ported our artist credit editor tests to Selenium, so the component is much better tested and the tests are easier to maintain

CatQuest: I don't think we can tell based on the mb.o /stats pages.

mostly finished restructuring the JSON dump PR, and fixed all the test failures it caused. may go back and improve the comments/documentation

fixed an issue with our CAA indexer that the IA reported...

we were sending multiple index updates very quickly for the same release which changed the checksum of the index.json files & confused rsync, filemtime() etc. which don't detect subsecond mtimes

CatQuest: "1,185" editors edited in the last 7 days, but no way to tell how many of those are "regulars" or "drive-by'ers".

CatQuest: the stats list around 1k unique active editors per week though I'm not quite sure what "active" means

so the new files were never backed up and the checksum verification failed later on

After posting my short final report for GSoC (http://users.utu.fi/ttmart/gsoc/) I've been having a short break of coding and have been focused more on editing. Some cources start tomorrow so soon I'll be little bit busier with studies. Later on this week I will continue my work to finally replace those search TT templates with React templates.
