Last week I was investigating some recurring issues with the WS container on pink

There's an issue where it tries to communicate with the template renderer (which isn't running) and times out, even though we mitigated that somewhat recently

Now I have some commits to solve it for good

I also worked on fixing some perf / memory issues in the XML serialization which we can hit for very large responses
2019-09-02 24529, 2019
Freso
Part of that involved porting the serialization to use XML::LibXML
Was not much well for the past week so could not work much. Opened two PRs and had a good discussion with ruaok about the schema. Did not much work the last week, but since ruaok is back and I feel better, looking forward to work this week.
which turned out to be a horrific mess - I ended up doing a lot of split-ups and such on wikipedia, creating wikidata-items and even a new commons category!

Hello everyone. I'm trying to use the Search API to acquire metadata for an application I'm writing, but I'm having difficulties constructing a query for exact matches. For example, shouldn't this query match only recordings that are named exactly "Boom Clap"? (artist:"charli xcx" AND recording:"boom clap" AND release:"sucker")
2019-09-02 24518, 2019
kaze404
As it stands, the first result using that query is a recording named "Boom Clap (Japanese version)"
