hey everyone! can someone help me with docker? i was doing the bookbrainz task and its giving me problems

im running docker on windows on wsl

so whenever i run the develop script

it gives me the compose http timeout

ive tried like a gazillion fixes

all the images and all got downloaded and installed yesterday, but cant get it to run

I'm not using Docker on Windows, but I'll try to help.

Can you past the error you see (if it's a lot of text, paste it in a pastebin)

Is docker itself running?

I must say I've never seen that issue

i added --verbose on the script the first time it threw me this error

to no avail

Can you run this command directly from the command line (from the bookbrainz-site directory) ?

`docker-compose run --rm startup --verbose &&

docker-compose up --build bookbrainz-site --verbose`

was doing that right now anyway, gimme 60 seconds

increasing the timeout doesnt work either tried w 200

Stopping and restarting docker could help, if you haven't tried that.

Other than that, maybe updating docker and docker-compose versions, if you haven't just installed them?

if it doesn't work i'm gonna just try on an ubuntu ec2 server

I'm afraid I don't have any other ideas. I haven't tried WSL at all, perhaps trying on a dual boot

Uninstalling and reinstalling docker and docker-compose is also an option, but a pretty desperate one
