(but this is still preliminary, it might very well be merged into Rudra Veena eventually) as well as https://beta.musicbrainz.org/instrument/872b72a... which is shaping up to be an important piece

after all.

Continuing research on INST-392, now focusing on ancient instruments and clarifying some strenuous links with names.

Did a teeny did of forum admin’ing last week, discussed forum versioning with zas, handled some flags and such and was around and about.

Also think this was actually the week prior to last week, but I’ve also brought Sigyn back since there were a couple of spambots looking like they were popping. Seems like it got nipped in the behind, but keeping Sigyn around for a while in case they pop back up.

Please poke me if she cause any issues.

Last week I was for a good part flying back from the US and recovering from jet-lag.

I then started catching up on PR Reviews and some troubleshooting on the forum

A bit og GSOC related preparations and reading

And finally some more testing of the merge tool, which is proving rather solid. now to write more tests !

last week I updated https://github.com/metabrainz/musicbrainz-serve... to support pasting urls and fixed up the error messages

did a bit of code review

spent most of the rest of the week on converting the relationship editor to React, getting the state management and edit submission right

but also implemented https://popper.js.org/ (also used by bootstrap internally) for positioning the edit dialogs, to replace jquery ui

hoping to submit a PR for that this week, though need to write some selenium tests too

last week was action packed trying to figure out how to replace influx... timescale is promising and I kept doing more tests to properly kick the tyres. I think I have a good understanding now and will have a good server to test this on soon.

I also did more prep for GSoC and roadmap planning.

and then trying to get a new server provisioned, which has been hell.

and today I was paying people and trying to setup an improve mail forwarding setup for the foundation.

all trying to streamline operations a bit more.

tiring, but necessary. hopefully more code soon. :)

I couldn't get much work done last week [had lots of assignments :( ]

still writing the api code so to kindly ignore the api.go file for now.

But I started wtiting the tests fir the importer

Hoping to get them done by this weekend

I also fixed the issue reported by CatQuest with modal's height and position.
