alastairp: I have compiled essentia for android and modified the streaming extractor and create a java interface for it and packagaged this into a library. Essentia uses AGPL so I have to use the same or which ones are allowed?

hi _lucifer, I don't know why the extractor would be slow, sorry. I know that it does a number of different processes, and some of them involve reading the data multiple times. You could add some additional debugging to see which parts are slow. other than that I'm not sure

alastairp: i'll try to debug it. strangely, only streaming extractor seems to be slow. standard mfcc and streaming lacapula runs pretty fast.
