ruaok: FunkWhale looks quite nice ! Haven't looked at their auth process yet, but the API looks like it could allow us to search for and play tracks pretty breezily:

search for track -> `curl -X GET "https://demo.funkwhale.audio/api/v1/search?q=Guerilla%20Professor%20Kliq" -H "accept: */*"` -> get the `listen_url` in the response -> fetch the audio -> `curl -X GET "https://demo.funkwhale.audio/api/v1/listen/7eb91273-95e0-422e-bccd-63b0b90577e9/" -H "accept: */*"`

I also read something about embedding a web player, could be another path.

I'm curious how well the their player works. but pushing playlists could also be a good way of going.

all I did was remove uppercase from those artists that had uppercase credits (because I think those were wrong and this is a very similar to another one witotuh caps)

yeah, mappings like the spotify mapping are outside the scope of this project.

and yes we should have mappings for all services, but this is a bit of a holy grail.
