that's plenty weird and non-standard for our projects. I guess this project should include a short PR to improve on that, even if only for that endpoint. but the codebases have a lot of similarities.

ruaok: CB doesn't require MB usernames because of the BBC reviews that were imported. Not sure if we want to mark these reviews as legacy in some way and require an account going forward

well, I guess it isn't even that. there's no way of creating a review without an account. but if we added a "get reviews by musicbrainz user x" we wouldn't ever be able to get a bbc review, but I don't think that's really a problem
