dhhruv: as is, it is likely your proposal will be dismissed, mainly because at this point you should have explored the related project a bit more and it results your proposal is too thin. Though I encourage you to get involved in MetaBrainz projects, because contributing, even outside GSoC, is a good thing. If you want to get involved into Picard, just select few tickets to work on, and open pull requests.

regarding GSOC, I had a few questions about the third idea under ListenBrainz - adding html pages that display data missing from MusicBrainz. What I understand is that we get listens in LB and not all of these listens have matching recordings in MB. For those listens that don't have a match, we are looking to give the user an option to log them in MB right? (with some of the data prefilled in MB data addition form)

There was an unfinished GSoC project from a few years ago that set out to import datasets. If you wanted to work on that feature it might be a good starting point. Be advised it is very much outdated and the codebase has moved on, but it could serve as a good base.
