this is random but it would be super cool if i could cancel pending edits with a checkbox thing instead of clicking each one [although admittedly, "don't be dumb" prevents the same headache, but ... well, here we are :b]

aerozol: Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I'll see if I can help out with the react transition.
yeah, normally i dont mind, but i did an edit today that involved updating song names, and the parser stuck the track times in the titles, and the release had like 43 songs T.T

<07aszazin> Is there any script that enables sorting options? (For instance the list of releases in the overview of a label.)
<07aszazin> Thanks, just tried it, but it doesn't work. In the heading some depreciated headers are used, but even when I change them to the proper one, it doesn't work. (But I have about zero knowledge on scripting...) What is the best way to report an issue for a userscript?

elomatreb, thanks, I will subscribe to repo. Please let your users know in case something stops working, thanks in advance.
<04elomatreb> you either have to do it one by one manually or you use a userscript

<07aszazin> I'm inputting a 13xCD box by Pierre Henry. There are specific remastering credits for specific recordings + dates. But the mastering credit for recordings is depreciated, and a remaster credit doesn't even exist. For most works I can understand this, but for Henry's musique concrète on a 13xCD box, that's a very unhappy thing... It's impossible to attach that credit release-wide, as it only applies for 1 out of 33 works on
the box set.
<07aszazin> Or should I just use the mixing credit, and describe the remastering in the 'task'. As in this specific case, it is actually what fits the description (it says: La version définitive, stéréo, est mixée du 17 au 20 juillet 1962 et remastérisée sur bande numérique (DAT) du 30 août au 8 septembre 2010. )

Hello, I signed up on musicbrainz and then tried to connect on listenbrainz with my account but it just redirects me back and I'm not signed in. Tried multiple browsers at this point, same thing.

<12lazybookwyrm> This is what documentation says: Recordings with different mastering As mentioned in Recording, in MusicBrainz, mastering is a process that is applied to recordings to prepare them for release in a particular format. This means that tracks should not use separate recordings because of mastering differences. Following on from this, separate recordings should not be created for remastered tracks, since remastered tracks
generally feature the original recording with different mastering applied. Remastering should be described using the remaster relationship type between releases, or in the release annotation where tracks are mastered differently across a release. The exception to this is where a track labelled as a remaster is in fact a remix - in this case, follow the remix guidelines above.
<07aszazin> Ah, thanks, in this case it's not the preparation for release, but 'mixing it again' to a digital format, after it was mixed (again) for a stereo release (the first mix, used for the live premiere, was a mono mix). So I guess I should consider it a remix, not a remaster? And thus I also need to check I linked them to the correct recordings (post 2010 digital releases, not early LP releases).

hrm. how can I add a standalone recording of a bootleg remix which definitely existed at some point, but has been withdrawn and I can't find the original URL it was available at?
I guess maybe I could add it as a release without a url, which I can't do as a standalone recording...
