bitmap: tagged you for reviews on sir prs since all of them are closely related to MB-DB and WS outputs

chhavi_: I think that is indeed the only one, yes
Only releases have two pages to edit (different) stuff
samj1912: I can look into JIRA issues
samj1912
reosarevok: the above issue please :P
reosarevok
Looking

basically instead of resolve issue I want it to be review submitted
reosarevok
So you want exactly what Picard has?

is it correct to keep the 'in review' tickets in resolved tickets?
samj1912 isnt sure
ah
jira wont move all the issues I moved to in review from resolved to open :(

samj1912: is the problem with specific past issues?
samj1912
reosarevok: retagged all of them
jira doesnt update the workflow for past issues it seems
reosarevok
It should have :/
It said "converting issues"
samj1912
reosarevok: any idea why WS2 keeps on asking me for authentication even when I am logged in on the main site?
reosarevok
Not really :/
samj1912 found a new WS bug from a new Picard bug :P
Yay!
You going to fix them both then? :p

reosarevok: honestly, that Wikimedia Commons stuff is really bad. Seems like someone from Wikidata decided to write a bot to copy geolocation data to Wikidata and delete it from Commons without any consensus there
More importantly, Wikidata uses CC0 but the geolocation data was licensed under CC-BY-SA which makes this move pretty illegal

Hi, I'm on a train going to the airport, won't be at the meeting. Summit was great
reosarevok
:)
alastairp: how did the session with people interested in MB go?
jwf|matrix
Awesome, thanks!
I started my commute late, so I'll be driving when the meeting starts, but I do have something I wanted to bring up, or ask about, really
reosarevok
Will you be home before the end of the hour?
Freso
jwf|matrix: ~6 minutes from now. :)

jwf|matrix: Add it to topics and leave a note to Freso.

Ugh. I keep getting arch-security mailing list notifications about sec. issues with {lib32-,}flashplugin. I'm glad I got rid of those a while ago. I've only come across one site since that still required Flash.
yvanzo
Freso: Is there any plan for publishing meeting notes on community forums and/or blog?
Freso
jwf|matrix: Please add your topic sooner rather than later. :)

yvanzo: Meeting notes… from summit?
yvanzo
Yes.
Freso
I don't know about the notes-notes/minutes. They're still kind of incomplete, last I looked.
I intend to write a blog post more about the social side of the summit, hopefully for this Friday. 🙏🏼
Anyway.

Not a lot to report for last week. I had a fun time spending a few days with my brother in SF and then meeting people and eating chocolate at the GSoC summit. I’ll be back full time this week to help with search PRs and submit the React stuff I was working on.

Further work on improving server reliability. A lot of the changes will end up being configuration, and I am thinking about ways to improve our default behavior in this area. Major touchstones are handling the redis server being unavailable and behaving better when elasticsearch goes down. Still to come, dockerization of the service.

last week was a lot of accounting and PRs. not a lot else, really.
I'm glad that samj1912 is kicking ass on the SOLR stuff -- it is really nice to finally see real progress on that.
its taking a lot of time to keep up with that.
and I'm still trying to re-establish communication with Quesito, but we seem to not be speaking the same language at the moment. no idea what will happen going forward.

I'm at my mom's place in Copenhagen now, since it's her birthday, and will stay the night here and go to my cousin's wedding tomorrow, so my connectivity is so-so right now.
In the last week I spent some time upgrading Discourse and doing some Google Code-in stuff as well as spending time on forums and IRC.
I think that's fin from me.
