Last week, I mostly worked on admin tooling against spam, delaying the beta release by one week. :(

(Last up: LordSputnik, unless Leftmost or ferbncode_ or someone else speaks up.)

Also fixed a few glitches in UI French translation that misled some editors.

And usual stuff: bugs triage, PR review, a bit of MB editing/voting.

Also created a GCI task. More to come soon. I want to get the entity editor done before the start of GCI, so that's why I'm not entirely focused on tasks at the moment.

And other than that fixed a few miscellaneous bugs.

This week, it would be nice if we can some more heads on our artist redesign ticket. There is a talk about the overview tab being really an “overview” of the page. I like that idea. I will work on it this week and upload a mockup there.

Oh btw, apparently someone is using MBIDs from Wikidata to add stuff like Discogs and social media to artists on the WD site, which is neat (whoo MineoBot + MB)

I find it helpful to get editing / review help from others who might be outside of the community / not have a MeB WordPress account.

Which allows you to both mail specific people, but also to get an "anonymous" link.

Another helpful add-on is Jetpack. If it's installed already, then I guess I can't see it. https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/ But it provides a lot of social sharing tools and helpful additions that make WordPress more helpful, in my opinion

It says it's installed, but probably only accessible for administrators. I guess that is the plugin that handles autopushing to the MusicBrainz FB page.

My favorite add-on is this Yoast SEO add-on though. It gives you real-time feedback on your writing, both for actual SEO engagement and for general readability. I use it as a simple guide for editing my own writing to improve for SEO and fix silly mistakes with flow / content. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/
