Mr_Monkey: i saw during my search for merging all things harry potter. it was very much easier whne i filtered to only one type

combo search is kinda confusing regardless. the only thing distingushing it in say inline relationship search is a tiny icon. i think maybe choosing type in beforehand is mosr user friendly

Hmm. I guess we *could* try and check whether it has edit pending other than the add edit

(or maybe we should just disable pending add edits for artists, really)

That said, chaban, I've found plenty of artists who are like "wtf why did my artist get removed" even if the banner was there - most people don't read

There were some auto added artist that got removed. I re-added them when I could find some links and left them a note. No response either. :\

Freso: isn't it the case that double redirects don't actually redirect so anyone entering GCI will be thrown into a noredirect page, and not to the actual destination you want?
