It ran out of space which is why building the DB failed.
After increasing it, it worked and the website stopped giving a 500 error. However, the page still loads totally unformatted. Most resources still timeout.
I'm continuing by building the search indexes.

iliekcomputers: timescale has this amazing concept of a continuous aggregate. it does things like keep stats on the data in the DB. like how many listens a user has. it is fully in the background (functions like a view) that periodically gets updated.
when defining this aggregate, you can specify a time interval during which the counts are updated.
I wonder if we can get away with "stats are updated every 10 minutes" and be done with it.
When does the Windows Store version of Picard get updated following a new release?

HenryG: it depends. it's in review right now
HenryG: I update it always right during release. but then it could take any time between 1-2 hours to 24 hours or so. I think worst case MS mentions is three days + 24 hours until the shop fronts are updated. but so far we always got it in 1-6 hours I think
