I think BrainzBot's a solid software stack. The logger is written in Go and practically shouldn't require any updates ever. The core is a django app that probably needs to be updated and maybe some unused stuff should be thrown out. The plugins are fine and well tested.
The current setup is stupidly nested (and running on an EOL Ubuntu LTS) so we need to redo that anyways. There are Dockerfiles from 2014 in each of the repos and they may need some touch-ups but getting it into the Docker infrastructure shouldn't be impossible.

the plugins are cool, I just wish the web interface wasn't so bad & you could actually follow links to specific messages
Leo_Verto
What do you mean, follow links to messages?

if you click on the timestamp of a message to link somewhere, it doesn't scroll to the message (either when you click it or when you open it later)
I can merge these changes into the 12 branch so AB doesn't need to maintain a separate branch whenever it upgrades. I'm just curious why it needed databases that don't exist in the pgbouncer config :)

(on the other hand I don't think having them causes any problems)
