        hello!
      • 2023-06-05 15622, 2023

      • shivam_
I was thinking that on the admin panel search page, instead of listing privs as a number like this: https://usercontent.irccloud-cdn.com/file/upWRspg…
      • 2023-06-05 15651, 2023

      • shivam_
we can also do something likes this https://usercontent.irccloud-cdn.com/file/LrawzrU…
      • 2023-06-05 15643, 2023

      • shivam_
gives a bit more information(pun intended), and looks neat too. I'm open to other ideas also. What do you guys think?

The five icons, ofcourse, represent the five different types of privileges
      • 2023-06-05 15651, 2023

      • shivam_
Oh, and one other way could be we can be wordy about it, and write the privileges of the user in a list like ['Identifier-editing-priv', 'relationship-editing-priv', ..] etc
      • 2023-06-05 15619, 2023

      • kellnerd
I would prefer a simple comma-separated list of enabled privileges
      • 2023-06-05 15628, 2023

      • kellnerd
While I like the compactness of the icons, the individual privilege won't necessarily have a meaningful order, so we would need a different icon for each flag.

Hi shivam_ !What do you think about something like this "assigned to" column in the middle? https://usercontent.irccloud-cdn.com/file/gwn35cL…
      • 2023-06-05 15617, 2023

      • kellnerd
Otherwise it's hard to immediately get their meaning, even if there would be tooltips.
      • 2023-06-05 15641, 2023

      • monkey
My preference is also for an easily readable list of some sort, it doesn't require any guessing.
      • 2023-06-05 15657, 2023

      • kellnerd
        That's even better than comma-separated, monkey :)
      • 2023-06-05 15600, 2023

      • monkey
But it can still look nice :)

      • kellnerd cries when he sees shivam_ working on the nice stuff already while he is still cleaning up old stuff which hasn't been touched since 2018 😅
      • 2023-06-05 15646, 2023

      • monkey
I can only guess at the amount of dust
      • 2023-06-05 15639, 2023

      • kellnerd
I could not even test the master branch because npm refused to install some of the dependencies.
      • 2023-06-05 15605, 2023

      • monkey
        That's pretty bad.
      • 2023-06-05 15601, 2023

      • shivam_
monkey that looks nice. I'll try cooking something on the similar lines
      • 2023-06-05 15609, 2023

      • monkey
        👍
      • 2023-06-05 15628, 2023

      • kellnerd
And there are no tests, so I won't know if the dependency updates broke anything before I've tried to run the producer and consumer themselves.

      • kellnerd
Since there were so many changes in our environment since 2018, I've used bb-data as a template to do the package upgrades:

      • kellnerd
Now that I've done the package.json updates and setup RMQ, I probably only have to do a few schema adaptions before I can finally test everything

        Smart thinking with the diff
      • 2023-06-05 15613, 2023

      • kellnerd
Yeah, it took me a while before I came to that approach, but once I had discovered that all babel packages were renamed, I started peeking at the other repos 😄
      • 2023-06-05 15631, 2023

      • monkey
It would be great to be able to keep the package files somewhat in sync to help with bitrot, but I can't think of a good idea for how to do that
      • 2023-06-05 15604, 2023

      • kellnerd
Yeah, same with the linter config
      • 2023-06-05 15604, 2023

      • monkey
Other than stating somewhere that the package file is based off of the other repo I guess
