I think we're talking at cross purposes; I think you've understood me to say I'm having the discussion on Discord, whereas I'm starting the discussion on the MetaBrainz community forum, which runs software called Discourse.
I appreciate your concern for ensuring that the discussion remains available to the community for reference.
