anyone here able to do a userscript that changes atisket's "set release to GB" button to "set release to XW"?

nyaomin: yes, I feel the same, but when it's 10-15 minutes of music I start to lean towards EP. (almost always EP if it's shorter). I think the general rule is that there's no rule, apply your judgement and if someone else knows better they can always change it or comment 👍

(well, there are rules, but not in these situations afaik)

Also hard when genre comes into play... ambient songs that are like 15 mins each, but there's only 3 of them? 30 Grindcore songs that add up to only 10 mins? Ahh

aerozol: rate something both in MusicBrainz and in CritiqueBrainz is confusing, and I would expect both to be merged. I’d expect them to live in CritiqueBrainz, but be able to access (display, add, edit) them from the other sites

Personally, I always thought it was weird that we had split review systems on MB + CB, but that it was more that nobody had gotten round to coding them together or something. I never thought we would consider leaving them seperate (but let’s see what people think)

anyway I can say with some certainty that the initial idea was toindeed move ratings *from* mb (where we now have a split ratings becasue mb and ratings on mb are older thna cb in its entirety)

and the ue of cb and it's very continued life (lest it fall to the fate of AB) hinges, i thikn on moving these things onto it

having "nonfactual" things on cb would be not a bad idea. i think

i still remember ruaoks intro of folksonomy tags "the idea that mb is only factual information is over" or somethingl ike that

podcasts that are available for free download, and are being "made" by an established artist - release type Broadcast or Other? Or don't submit for the moment?

uh i think broadcast was spesifially for thig like podcasts.. but not sure. perhasp others know?
