having releases credited to a legal name being sorted as the artists main pseudonym is pretty confusing if people are using picard for example

"if the track is given an official name in another release, the recording and work should be updated." I don't consider it "official" but the artist clearly has intent to disambiguate the tracks. It may be this is purely due to the medium, a track title is not particularly relevant on a physical release but is much more so on a digital release as it's the primary way that you can determine which track is which

I've been consistent in that I see both sides of this debate - whilst I seem to fall on the opposite side to you, I'd prefer if the guidelines were updated to address this specific situation
