For this you probably want a recording series?

"Publishing label" also doesn't seem right, since it's not, you know, a label publishing any music here

UltimateRiff: hmm, not sure why i didn't add support for seeding series in yambs -- maybe i figured editors were more likely to just want to assign an existing series when seeding other entity types? i filed https://codeberg.org/derat/yambs/issues/46 and will try to look at adding series (and places) soon, in any case

how do we handle releases that are updated later? f013579b-96d4-4168-a195-9173719b21a5 seems to imply you make separate new releases but then there's ac6910d1-752e-4637-b418-7f39aa891d49 which was just updated over time... i prefer the latter approach honestly

ok ... so i was dealing with a really complicated release, and i was wondering ... there don't seem to be release relationships for like, alternative releases or reprints; just remasters

that's a little weird when it comes to the latter approach because the artist uploads only single tracks every few years and considers them to be a part of the album. making a brand new release every few years for the same album but with one new track is really noisy and cluttered...

i was the one that added the latest song, and considering the album has been around for a while and the release had everything else already, i made the assumption that we just update the release over time

i don't think the procedure is documented anywhere?
