<09duckfromdisc> could it ever be correct to tag a bandcamp release as an EP?

<12lazybookwyrm> If the artist considers it an EP, yeah
<12lazybookwyrm> Merging is fine, what you did looks good except it takes several days to apply and you canceled it before it could

<12lazybookwyrm> Entities with open edits will be highlighted with yellow. You can also click the "Open Edits" option in the right panel of an entity to view open edits. Any open edit won't be applied till its voting period is finished.
<12lazybookwyrm> Yeah, EPs are kinda hard that way. Documentation says An EP is a so-called "Extended Play" release and often contains the letters EP in the title. Generally an EP will be shorter than a full length release (an LP or "Long Play") and the tracks are usually exclusive to the EP, in other words the tracks don't come from a previously issued release. EP is fairly difficult to define; usually it should only be assumed that
a release is an EP if the artist defines it as such. I'd generally look at if the artist considers it an album, or if there's one song that's considered the main song with others being bonuses (in which case it might be a single)

Hmm, is it a new feature that HTML page titles for edit listings are now prefixed with a number?
