The spec has nothing in place to limit message length beyond 64 kilobyte event size limit

in the old matrix bridge it was configurable (per user)

it'd be good to get a configurable thing in rooms

splitting messages upis my prefrence. but it'd atleast be good to show matrix users that irc users aren't seeing their message

There is a spec change proposal to limit actions or warn about how something might not be bridged for rooms with bridges

I.e. the t2bot Discord bridge doesn't have reactions, so clients could hide reaction buttons on it, or warn that redactions won't bridge for IRC

<11iconoclasthero> yes... i'm trying to take an unidentified song, get a fingerprint of it, and see what is like it.

iconoclasthero: if you send the fingerprint to AcoustIDs lookup API it will respond with matching AcoustIDs and the linked MBIDs of the recordings. It also returns some metadata, but you can also then use the MBIDs to lookup the full details from MB API.

Not quite sure what you are asking, though

later reported as spam in musicbrainz and therefore deleted from the musicbrainz db, what happens with the review in critiquebrainz db? does it ever get deleted ? or does it become a ghost review 👻 ?
