Just trying to find context for the phrase "Nerdcore", I would guess it was imported to NZ via zines, etc.

I don't know if it was important or a scene or just funny one off naming (particularly in punk, mucking with the -core format). It's before my time but I know people from then if you have a question you want me to pass on
