ok, I have a disc that is a "double feature" (2 albums from 2 diff artists). I'd be putting it in MB as it is, but for personal collection, I really really kind of want to split it into the two albums that it is.. thoughts?

I was using RYM this morning and noticed one of the albums I was working with, didn't have a tracklisting. so I took it upon myself to add it. my god, the interface is *so* poorly explained in their wiki doc.

the album has non-track 'suites' that i wanted to add in the tracklisting. the wiki doc says (in several places) to create a bolded header for those cases. but entirely fails to actually explain how to create either a header or how to make it bolded.

it took googling the matter, finding a reddit post with an example of a release that has those elements, going into that release's editing functions to look at the guts of the tracklisting, and more trial-and-error on the entry I was working on........... 🤦‍♀️

so anyway, all that just to say, the experience only served to make me appreciate the always-vastly-superior musicbrainz even more 😼

I'm trying to link a CD TOC to an existing release, but I don't know how to do

The release in question is this: https://beta.musicbrainz.org/release/b9715bf8-4...

When using Picard, it's telling me there is no info on the CD and I can submit the disc ID, which points to this URL:

but when I look for "Michel Legrand", I can only see a handful of albums, and not the one I'm looking for

and searching the release name ("Hier & Demain") only yield one result: https://beta.musicbrainz.org/release/a94a28c6-e... (completely unrelated!)

It looks like the search does not work properly?

Is it possible to manually add a CD TOC to a release from the release page?

I was about to add a new release, but when I entered the bar code, MB told me there was already a release with that barcode... so I'm very confused

pieq: There aren't any discs on that release with 20 tracks that I can see.
