Hello, I'm trying to use the "search for edits" feature to show me edits matching all of the following criteria: (1) type is {edit artist, edit artist alias}, (2) artist is a specific artist. However, when I perform the search, it removes (2) showing me all edit artist/edit artist alias edits for all artists. What am I doing wrong?
if you click on the link I posted above, does it also remove the artist field?
2024-11-01 30653, 2024
username7295[m]
Yes. 500+ edits, showing all artists in results, and no artist field in the top conditions.

Tried your link on Chrome too since I was using Firefox and got the same result.

Hmm I wonder if that’s a bug? Logged in shouldn’t affect anything except maybe searching what user did an edit, or things like that

<xoip> "there is build arg "--disable-..." <- That build option is to disable the update checking code entirely, and is intended for packagers (such as in Linux) where the update checking will be done by the OS rather than by Picard.

BobSwift[m]
For all other installations, the update checking can be limited or disabled from the user's option settings in Picard.

As an example Fedora does not use “--disable-autoupdate”, I created a bug report. Gentoo Linux has it as far as I can see. I don't know yet if auto update will be removed from the gui as an option, but if I ever use picard on another platform (windows) I would like to be asked if I like auto update or not.

xoip: makes sense to have this opt-in. I thought I had added a ticket for this to https://tickets.metabrainz.org, but I'm not sure right now and can't check. Could you maybe open a ticket there to be sure it does not get forgotten?

And yes, for the Fedora packagers my recommendation would be to disable the update check completely during build. That's exactly what the option is for

Hi everyone! Is it possible to get a list of (or a single) completely random release(s) using the MusicBrainz API?
