If you're talking about LB, there's infrastructure problems right now and all new releases get 404'ed.

Anyways, is there anything against using tags to say what *not* to edit? Like a "not duplicate" tag or a "no catalogue number" tag?

No catalogue number has an official way to do it, [none]

And if you feel something is confusing enough that people might want to merge it, disambiguate it. If that still seems confusing, then the disambiguations are not great 😅 but you can expand it on the annotation

and the 5xx rate for MB looks like it's back down, plus i can browse MB
