Hmm, important ones, off the top of my head: Enhanced Cover Art Uploads, Display shortcuts for relationships, funkey illustrated records… Iand whatever I forgot, I have a lot installed
I think most MB editors, who are quite active, do

are genres supposed to go to the release group or the release
afrocat_0[m]
they can go anywhere
duckfromdisc[m]
i feel like they should propagate from rg to release
or vice versa
afrocat_0[m]
to me it makes the most sense at release group and recording levels
duckfromdisc[m]
i agree

> Display shortcuts for relationships
cant find this one on the userscripts page

'sample-free slushwave' is a definite no as a genre right?
it doesn't mean there's no sample relationships it just means the samples were made by the same artists or another artist that knows it was going to be used as such

Guest24: a few of those scripts are off all the time unless i have to use them, and a few of them are my own that i'm still working on, but yeah most of them are on all the time
it's definitely a rabbit hole :D

Sorry, ‘display shortcuts for relationships’ is called “Shortcuts to external links”
re. genres, if you are going on a big genre submission mission I would recommend flaky’s “Submit Folksonomy Tags” Picard plugin, if you want to tag all the recordings etc of an artist. Easier to tag your files in your player or Picard, and then submit them from there
In terms of MB updates I have made two suggestions/tickets to help propagate genres across “levels” - other ideas always welcome
MBS-13792: Allow users to apply genre tags to multiple levels at once (artist + rg + release etc)

I am in favour of automatically pulling genres to different levels - this was discussed at the last summit (see topic “Genres Across MetaBrainz”), but no concrete actions came out of the discussion: https://blog.metabrainz.org/2024/10/30/metabrai...
In particular having “release group” and “release” tags all be the same got a general consensus. But again, no concrete plans
