Well I only have a database called musicbrainz, but no db called musicbrainz_db...

Connecting to the database from musicbrainz in general works, but it tries to connect to a non existing db

Do I need both a musicbrainz db and a musicbrainz_db db?

And somehow my musicbrainz instance runs extremly slow, it takes ages to load the web page

And my css isn't loading at all

Hmm, I didn't change anything in the config, I just followed the documentation and that was it... The `musicbrainz` db was automatically created by some script @bitmap

fllooo: weird, if you have the exact commands you used (in your shell history) and let me know what commit you're on (`git rev-parse HEAD`) I could try to reproduce it

basically there would've had to have been some change to DBDefs.pm to cause that, or it was renamed later. you can just rename the database back to musicbrainz_db with psql though
