does anybody recall offhand which is the preferred or default format for vinyl track numbers - numbers reset with each new side, or continue in sequence regardless of side - if the release doesn't specify anything at all?

I’ve always assumed the numbers restart on each side, and I can’t recall ever seeing a release where the numbers keep climbing, though I’m sure they exist.

yes, that's actually normal. it has something to do with cross-site access, because this page is the result of data submission from a different domain. same thing if you submit e.g. from within picard or via other importers
