how are timezones handled in event dates?

I think we generally just go with whatever day the distributor or publisher or music provider says it was

Place, like a building, or a venue

duckfromdisc[m]: Area has to be something in Wikidata, like United States, Greater London, or Tokyo. A place can be absolutely anything, like the Empire State Building, the Taj Mahal, or my house.

Most recording studios and concert venues are places. Most governmental entities are areas.

Just to expand on that definition of a place, it can also be a group of buildings like a college campus which then has other places inside

i thought it was that an area would be a venue OR a physical location like a town, and a place would be the different parts of it if it WAS a venue

but it makes more sense to say an area has to be a location but a place can be anywhere

i guess it was more area i was confused about, rather than place?

Hi! I added cover art to some releases over 12 hours ago. And for one release all three uploads still show "Image failed to load correctly": https://musicbrainz.org/release/80194a18-c07a-4... should I wait longer, or should I remove the three cover art entries and re-upload?

If files are uploaded without any errors, you should wait. caa sometimes takes it's time to process images, especially if they're very high resolution

naxay07[m]: thank! Then I'll wait another 12h-24h and have another look later. resolution is roughly 1500 x 1500 px, so not too large. and all other (dozens) of uploads on other releases went through in minutes.

Is the first track called “remix” but it’s not actually a remix? Based on the recording you linked it to 🤔
