So I've found myself adding a bootleg Michael Jackson album to the database. Question: The album has misspelled some tracks (`She's Out Of Life` instead of `She's Out of My Life`, `Working Day and Night` <-> `Workin' Day and Night`). Do I keep them as they are in the listing, or correct the titles to match the proper spelling/name?

commandmc (@_discord_265427419832385537:chatbrainz.org) for a bootleg CD I would probably keep the spelling as it is, but as a general principle you're allowed to fix obvious mistakes

you can lookup your release on discogs.com and see if the artist is listed there. comparing releases on discogs vs releases by the other ICHI on MusicBrainz could help find a match, otherwise MB might not have the artist at all in the database

btw, I don't listen to japanese artists but I find it cool that MusicBrainz seems to have so many japanese-centric editors... It must be becuase the site uses unicode and proper script :)

Hi all, not sure if this is appropriate place to ask . I'm using MusicBrainz Picard for the first time and added my library which is on an SMB share. Some of my library worked but the rest looks like the attached in red. The error says the file doesnt exist but it obviously exists because it found the file when I added the directory. Any idea?

hi [jay1911](https://matrix.to/#/@_discord_125019746214215680:chatbrainz.org), you will likely want to try the channel dedicated to picard (picard-dev in discord)
