secondly.... I think I've already answered my own question in my head 🙃 but if a track has to be edited between platforms (ie self-release vs streaming) to remove a sample or two due to licensing, but it's otherwise the same, those are still going to be separate recordings ye?
I found this app f-droid. It lets you browse MBcs database and it's essentially the same thing as the official app but with more metadata shown
