Hi! It seems reaching musicbrainz.org and its API via IPv4 became very flakey in the last days. At some point connections get closed by the server without any response. I found this out because Exact Audio Copy suddenly couldn't reach MB anymore. I switched to a different ISP (luckily I have two :) ) and it worked again for a while, then stopped. With around one metadata request every 3 to 5 minutes

I can reproduce this with curl -4 (and reach MB with curl -6). Also on my Win11 PC the same: When I disabled ipv6 I can't reach MB anymore. (Which is not an issue, as ipv6 works in modern browsers, but EAC seems to work only with ipv4)

a bit OT to a music-channel, but I really like this idea so promo!
The same as above happens also on ipv6. Using my browser on musicbrainz.org, after some normal usage (looking up releases, adding missing cover art etc), the server suddenly does not respond anymore and closes new connections immediately without any error. when getting a new IPv6 on the same machine, I can access MB again
