By the style guide, as I read it, the tracks with a "main" should be credit to that person /only/, and ALW should only get stuff there is no clear lead for. That said, that would be super inconsistent, because clearly his role and involvement don't change. For that reason, I think I /like/ this change, but still also think it goes against the guide.

I'm listening to track 2 now [one that had no featured artist], and ... it's a group thing. The only way to put performers in this is to figure out who plays what role, watch the play, and pick out the solo voice elements, or do a 22 person "..., and ..."

Specifically - "Generally, use the name the artist mainly performs under as the artist name. Alternative names, including any legal names and name variations, should generally be entered as aliases, and can be used in artist credits and relationship credits when appropriate."

So in many cases a you shouldn't create a separate legal name artist just to add a "performs as" relationship.
