although it depends on how you view it

picard is a mass edit and save system that helps automatically match files to data

hm, those will massivly ease work for you when eg. importing vgmdb releases for example

so that might arguably be considered something like that

one thing i do for other stuff

like, for importing anime or whatever

i use a tool called advanced renamer

and i have scripted some stuff for it, so that it can clean things up nicely

and you can save the profiles or whatever, so i do that

it's mostly a series of regex steps

yea i mean like import from like https://paradiserecordshtml.bandcamp.com/album/... to mb (the script makes it so importing is doable in afew licks, rather than, say having to copypaste things back and forth)

actually i use ircloud here becasue the connection is shit and with any other (i've tried hexchat, its a fork of xchat afaik) thy jsut time out all the time and i get disconnected

this machine id in the kitchen and. for osme reasno it feels too far away from the living room. the living room machine is fine and always connected

i wouldn't say it's a foregone conclusion which one is better, they are both likely fairly wrong

and ebay

sallmusic's scan are often good

ut not foolproof ofcourse

ebay are usueally good :D

since discogs blocked the fetching of the full-sized images i get them from allmusic, usually the allmusic ones are quite high resolution and are great for a reference
