hrm, something really weird happening if I paste in a recording url to the "recordings" tab

also getting that weird bug where I am not getting an edit preview :/

I feel like the site is having some issues.

derwin: is it the weird bug I've heard of where the recording gets *renamed* to the URL?

recently when editing mb i got that to (too annoying!)

loujine: could I bother you to add an option to the recording artists script that allows me to skip concertmasters? IMO they're almost never credited in a way that should get a recording artist credit

reosarevok: just came across an annoying bug. so i press "guess case" on this release wich has non sentence caps (but should) the title. but thne the releasegroup "copy the release title to the release group" ticketbox does not show up. i have to put a space or something in the title for it

the whole thing where edit previews don't show up and I can't make them show up seems pretty bad

Though the series is "Original Javanese Music", so wouldn't it then be "Original Javanese Music, Vol. 3: Wedding & Welcome Ceremony[…]"?

Another "fun" question: The track listing uses abbreviations and has a key. Do I add the tracks using the abbreviations and add the key to the album annotations or do I expand them?

Ainola: you're a hero - my advice would be "procrastinate and hopefully someone else adds it in the meantime" ;)

aerozol: Thanks for the kind words ^^; I kinda doubt many other people will come along to MB with this pretty obscure album, so if I don't do the work nobody will :P

I think the album title is really up to you - there are some vague rules people go by like 'always use what's on the spine', but none of them really work for all situations, when the title changes in different places

If you know what's most common in this style of music you could go with that

If not, just go with whatever you'd prefer in your tags tbh

I would probably just tidy up the series part in the title to match any others you have found, since the title is all over the place anyway

atj: I think it depends on the settings of the profile, but yes I've seen that too

some work, some don't

it's been doing it pretty much 100% of the time for me for the last couple of days

wiping all cookies, local storage etc. makes no difference
