in general the easiest way to add any release is to find it on a site and use an importer

and if there's multiple different versions of a release, that's what "release groups" are for

they contain all the different versions or alternatives as you say

in general, releases imported from freedb in 2006 are low quality and might have an error like wrong cat number vs. title

so... catalog number was added by a person who was also a beginner

and probably didn't realize the distinction between the two names

I would probably just change the release name here, because the catalog number and country and label are all correct..

(and, if I cared to, import the other one and add it to the same release group)

I'm not sure of any actual policy here, but I would use the subset as the Release group title

so like one is :

"Always Elvis" and the other is "Always Elvis (The Dutch Album)" so I would call the release group "Always Elvis"
