migro: nice one! They will be set automatically if there's no existing times otherwise you have to go find that button

ther really should be a way to say this whne you add a toc (sinc this already has some times you will have to assign times via "set tracktimes on the toc page")
is there a way to report a user thats adding junk info into the database
i looked up the other day and saw discord links across a large number of followed artists

LaRose_Bleu: at the bottom of a user page is a link, “Report this user for bad behavior”
reosarevok
I think we might already have a report for that one but do report again just in case :)

toc file "Total length:39:08" musicbrainz sidebar show "Length: 39:06"
toc file first line "1 0:02 150 4:31 20304 4:33 20454"
anybody know why 2 seconds at beginning don't count?

just a quirk of the way the cd format works
the time starts at 0 at the index 1 of the first track, which with a standard pre-gap is after 2 seconds of silent/null data.

are there guidelines on whether to mark something as an album or an ep when there's no indication from the artist which they consider it to be? further complicated by the fact that it's a soundtrack, and i feel a bias toward calling it an album on that basis, but no clue whether that's reasonable
kepstin
the general rules for an ep are "it's an ep if the artist says it's an ep"
so if they don't say it's an ep - then usually album, yeah

that makes sense

(iirc there's a style ticket open to add a "mini album" type for the japanese market - but like ep, it should only be used if the artist/label says that the album is a mini-album)
nyaomin: I have that problem constantly... especially game soundtracks of middling length :s
nyaomin
yeah, like i guess to me an ep feels more incidental, less of a defined and deliberate project and more "here's some songs", and since an ost by definition has a specific purpose i feel biased towards thinking of them as albums regardless of length
