I'm trying to find an album, but all I can actually find is a 'work' that has relationships to the individual tracks. Is this a case of data getting categorized incorrectly? The page in question is https://musicbrainz.org/work/34c5ad05-567f-4f50-9…

Doc_X: MBz doesn’t have work-to-release relationships. Maybe it should? If you compare Beethoven’s 9th (https://musicbrainz.org/work/c35b4956-d4f8-321a-8…) you only see recordings (tracks) that record the whole symphony, or are marked as partial. So I suppose you could mark each Evangelion track as a partial recording of the entire soundtrack, but it doesn’t seem that difficult to me to track from the soundtrack
From a track-centric perspective, i.e. when tagging a file, I really want to know what specific work this track represents (e.g. A01_asakawa), and not have spurious information about the larger work.

heya, this label released a digital album in two parts: https://laeuphoria.bandcamp.com/album/la-euphoria…, stylized as "CD1" and "CD2" even though no physical CDs of the album exist. I'm conflicted on how to enter this in MB. they are distinct releases on bandcamp--different cover art and all--but they were released at the same time and are definitely intended to be

listened to as "one thing", as evident by the official YouTube upload grouping both parts together (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sb2t9SROcxE) my intuition tells me to make one release group with these two parts as separate mediums in one release, making it a "2xdigital media" release. is this intuition the best course of action?

leftmostcat: looks like Growling Old Men is the "group name" of Ben Winship and John Lowell, they've released multiple things under that name in that same bandcamp page... (full message at <https://matrix.chatbrainz.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/chatbrainz.org/YqzGYZtddnoToIeHBJDrqJVE>)
