riksucks: I just realized, is that La Mer by Charles Trenet? :D
aerozol
monkey: I tried to do that by having various ways to filter items in the explore page (long term goals), so we could section it up
Having it on one page might entice someone to 'explore'
monkey
Ah, I see, is that the icons at the top of the screenshot i posted?
aerozol
I was also thinking about having collapsible sections in there, in particular 'beta'. So you can hide the whole thing (aligning more with the MB mockup which has those everywhere)
Yeah and the filter/sort order
monkey
I see. Yep, I think that would be a solid option. If it doesn't end up overwhelming then we won't need those sub-menus.
aerozol
Let's see how it goes eh
monkey
By overwhelming, I mean if we had say 35 items on that explore page, would be hard to find anything
But collapsible sections make that problem go away, most likely
aerozol
I'd also be like 'wow look at all this cool stuff to check out!'
But maybe I'm being optimistic!
monkey
No, I think that's a great point.
aerozol
I also included favorites button at the top so users can stick stuff to the top. But I imagine all this filtering and icon stuff is long term goals right
I'll be back on it today, hopefully you'll wake up with something nice to do if you want š

monkey
And perhaps my fear is solely based on seeing just 6 items on a page, and imagining scrolling down to find number 35 :p
aerozol
No no valid
monkey
Depends on how many things we have on those pages, and how we slice that cake
aerozol
Although... Endless scroll of cool stuff... Let's do it!
monkey
Hah
