reosarevok, kellnerd: no, it's fine, it’s just because I cherry-picked one isolated commit instead of the full pull request.

reosarevok: disabling fuzzy matching would be worse, the translations would be lost instead.

The restrictions/descriptions mismatch might have a different reason, according to the history it was changed 12 days ago already. Was fuzzy matching already enabled by then?

Easy to spot though, and that’s the reason why fuzzy messages are not used.
      • 2023-11-21 32518, 2023

      • reosarevok
Yeah, I guess we can always reconsider keeping fuzzy always on if we get too many of these and translators complain but probably fine for now
      • 2023-11-21 32535, 2023

      • MonkeyPython
yea I mean I don't really understand but any thing that makes it say "restrictions" as a suggestion when the word is "descriptions" seems liek a real bad fit

Yeah, the main issue in bagpipes is that often there's a word in the language which just means "bagpipe" in general, but it's also used to refer to the specific types of bagpipe from that country

Yes, but there is no specific instrument called a cornemuse.

the translation seems to suggest that cornemuse are bellows blown and musette are mouth blown (a distinction I haven't see anywhre else but I like the logic)

I love how the German term Sackpfeife (exact translation for bagpipe) also makes for a good insult because both "Sack" and "Pfeife" can be used as insults. The alternative term "Dudelsack" sounds much nicer :)
