basic information like release_date, release_group_mbid, caa_id and release_name

monkey: I was creating an endpoint similar to "https://api.listenbrainz.org/1/popularity/top-recordings-for-artist?artist_mbid=ed3f4831-e3e0-4dc0-9381-f5649e9df221" to fetch top releases for an artist which requires data to be fetched for all releases in the backend.

which similarity do you want to keep around?

lucifer: basically all we need is the raw value that spark returns. And the global scaled one if want to keep compatibility with prod.

that value is between -1 and 1.

Yes. (I dout it is below zero ever but I haven't checked)

how about i add a filter to remove values under 0 before sending to LB server?

or add 1 and divide by 2

we do some scaling like that at the moment.
