<outsidecontext[m> "lucifer: Do you have some time..." <- outsidecontext: sure. the access scopes are in place, we intended to do the migration in 2 phases. the endpoints are stable for phase 1, they will change once the phase 2 is complete and then become completely stable but that can take a few months to finish.

This error is showing up on the global listens section and the artists page while setting up my local listenbrainz server. On reading the logs, it seems that
SQLALCHEMY_METABRAINZ_URI = ""
this uri is missing. Or might be some other issue. Please help to figure this out.

<lucifer[m]> "outsidecontext: sure. the access..." <- I see. In this case I think it only makes sense to include this in a Picard release once phase 2 is completed and the endpoints are stable. But I can prepare things.
What are the scopes available for MB? On the old auth Picard requests "profile tag rating collection submit_isrc submit_barcode".
outsidecontext: all of those will be available in the new oauth provider as well.
outsidecontext[m
They were not accepted by the new-oauth2 endpoints when I tried yesterday. Do they need to be prefixed in some way?
lucifer[m]
yes, i need to create them in the database. so far only profile tag rating have been created.
i would like to prefix all scopes with musicbrainz: but need to discuss that with MB team.
* i would like to prefix all MB scopes with musicbrainz: but need to discuss that with MB team.
outsidecontext[m
I see. I'll test with the limited scope set then. For implementing the basic functionality and the changes for handling the callback URL as we discussed on the summit this will do.
I would support the prefixing. I saw that this is now done for LB and CB as well.
lucifer[m]
yup.

hi there, I was wondering how do you guys keep data in sync between critiquebrainz and mb database when entities get merged for being duplicated, made a post in the forum in case anyone is interested: https://community.metabrainz.org/t/what-happens...

Updating production servers
yvanzo: remind me again, how do we test the prebuilt image? I will then document it properly on the releasing doc
(I don't see anything mentioning "prebuilt" on the -docker readme either)
f#^$%, my gmail send as (for the metabrainz account) has crapped out again. Does anyone know the SMTP server/port details? I’ve scoured my emails and the chat history but I’m not finding it 🙏
I dunno that, but you can talk about it during the meeting ;p

reosarevok: How to test? Just check that mirroring the website or any potentially breaking part still works.
reosarevok[m]
Yes, I know that, I meant more "how do I actually tell it to use the specific prebuilt image"
yvanzo[m]
That is what your last commit does.

reosarevok[m]
Oh. So it's literally "just do the usual docker"
yvanzo[m]
Did you test anything?
reosarevok[m]
I guess I'm confused at the difference between "musicbrainz" and "musicbrainz-prebuilt" (since we have a separate "musicbrainz-dev" we need to do separately)
yvanzo[m]
Personally I have two instance of mb-docker.

Hi, and welcome to another MetaBrainz Monday Meeting!
I have four mailed-in reviews
julian45 says:
"Hi all! Overall slow progress last week due to busy-ness at day job, and unfortunately will have to continue the same this week due to a conference. Work on same topics as last week continues. In the meantime, I contributed a small QoL patch for MBS-13795"
Last week I spent time building a genre explorer page.
And reviewing PRs for LB.
I have my end semester exams going on right now, so couldn't get much done.
That's it for me.

atj just said he's been ill - get better, atj!

good bedring atj!

And outsidecontext said:
'''
Last week I finally set up the Windows code signing for Picard using Azure Trusted Signing. It's running well and actually simplified our Github Actions pipeline.
I also set up Windows and macOS code signing for the libdiscid binaries built with Github Actions. And while I was at it I fixed and updated the build pipeline. I'd like to do a new libdiscid release soon. Not much has changed, but there is a fix for the cmake build and the code signing also is useful.
On the Picard side I finally started looking into two outstanding tasks we had been discussing on the summit. I will finalize the changes needed to support the new MeB oauth and afterwards will get back into the new plugin system.
'''
That's it for mailed-in reviews!
On my list for today: yellowhatpro, akshaaatt, bitmap, derat, aerozol, zas, MonkeyPython, kellnerd, monkey, jasje, mayhem, yvanzo, reosarevok, lucifer

Hello!
Last week I deployed the syndication feeds (Atom/RSS) for LB
Worked on playlist imports from Spotify and Apple Music
(some issue)
Worked on a bunch of smaller tickets and deployed another prod version
Had a good call with the LB team mostly about our plan for Year In Music this year
Did a bit of researhc on that topic
including reading feedback on spotify's wrapped, which are .... ambiguous
