Hi munishk! You are welcome to contribute to tickets etc any time. In terms of BPM though it seems there has been some progress - if you check the message history you will see that igold94 has been doing some work on the subject. Perhaps you would like to see if they could use assistance, or there may be other music data extraction (or other LB tickets) that you’re interested in. TBH it’d be pretty cool to have multiple BPM

detection systems available in LB, but that wouldn’t be a priority for us

(it’s mayhem that is leading the BPM stuff btw, I’m just filling you in on what’s happening)

Does the MusicBrainz api only accept oauth now? I'm trying to use Digest authentication and it's giving me a 401 error.

To be more specific, I'm trying to use the python "requests" module with "HTTPDigestAuth" to perform a PUT to add releases to my collection.

Last time I tried this (about a month ago) the code worked fine. The only thing I can think that might have changed is MB switching to oauth.
