Jigen (IRC): As you mentioned, there is a mismatch between the way we calculate flairs activation in LB and the way we display the time remaining in the settings page (using the MeB nag-check [https://metabrainz.org/donations/nag-check?edit...]).
To run via docker, you're going to log in to the web container which contains the update file and the psql CLI.
The commend for that is `./develop.sh run -it web bash`.
To run the psql command inside the container: `psql -h lb_db -d listenbrainz -U listenbrainz -f admin/sql/updates/name-of-your-file`
password will also be 'listenbrainz'
-h is for host (in this case the name of the service, translated automatically by docker), -d is to say which database the command applies to, -U is username, and -f is to point to a file (instead of running a command directly for example)

thanks it worked
after running the update script it just displayed ALTER TYPE
i'm assuming that it was succesful
monkey[m]
Yes
suvid[m]
but i still get 500 error :(
fixed some things as they were giving error messages
but now no error
monkey[m]
Then it might be another issue :)
suvid[m]
only 500
cant figure out as there's literally no error message :(
monkey: luciferansh : stats.fm looks interesting -- even if to steal ideas for more stats. :)

Yes I believe aerozol has been referencing it for a couploe of years, some great stats viz

mayhem, lucifer: there is no "banned" in LB, right?
It's just "delete the profile" or nothing? Or is there something in between?
mayhem[m]
supposedly they have 2M paying users. which I kinda doubt, but ok.

nope
mayhem[m]
reosarevok[m]: there isn't.
and in this case, its garbage data.
so, toss it
let me know when those two accounts are purged and I'll follow up on the forum
reosarevok[m]
Well, at some point they did listen to real music, but yeah
Anyway, this works for these users in particular, but you'll want better mechanisms in general
mayhem[m]
reosarevok[m]: for pausing someone's account and then be able to unpause it when they show remorse?
reosarevok[m]
A way to temporarily stop new listens for example, so that less dodgy users that are still doing something wrong are forced to actually react to our comments
mayhem[m]
yeah, makes sense.
let me make a ticket
reosarevok[m]
And ideally we'd have a way to just hide and not use potential spammer records, or at least save a copy just in case
Because if we mess up and we just deleted someone's five years of listens, that'd suck
Looking at reported users, there's several reported (correctly) as sockpuppets but with fairly low usage and which might be legitimate errors. I can contact the users for now, but it would be good to yeah, pause them while we wait for an answer :)
And at least one is a case where the user has actually deleted one of the MB accounts, so probably an error
But LB does not do anything with that, so both are still sending listens, probably without their knowledge
lucifer: please let's make it so deleting a user deletes it automatically in LB too, this is problematic :)
I guess we want real deletion there, not just Deleted Editor #Whatever
But that's for the LB team to decide
Also, a button to mark a report as dealt with would be nice

At some point it seems I edited the report text to indicate it, which is not ideal... but also, trying to load that edit report page now seems to just freeze my browser, so 😅

reosarevok: yes makes sense, my intent is/was to add it once we have migrated users to MeB Oauth.
reosarevok[m]
Sure, seems fine to me :) Just needs to have a clear idea of how it should work
yvanzo, bitmap: drafted a blog post - making dinner now though, will get back to the release after that

<mayhem[m]> "Bob Swift: shall we pick a..." <- Sounds good. Just let me know when and I'll make myself available. No other hearings, meetings or other firm commitments (so far) on my schedule for this week (although I do need to find some time to review the material for preliminary motions that one of the lawyers has submitted for one of the upcoming hearings that I'm chairing). Is there anything else you'd like me to prepare
